Maker Festival 2017 Call for Contributors

We’re on the hunt for creative people, projects, organizations and ideas to take part in the Maker Festival at the Ontario Science Center. Due to COVID-19, the Festival is postponed from the original date (June 13th, 2020, 10am-7pm). We will update this page with the new date once we have it confirmed, in the meantime the Call for Makers remains open. Please apply, and if it turns out you can’t make the new date, we totally understand - application is just the first step in a process which involves checking on your actual availability.

The Call for Makers will remain open until approximately 2 months before the event.
Type Of Proposal

Exhibit Space Type

We have some themed areas. Most makers will not check any of these, but if you think your project is suitable for any of them, please check the appropriate box:

Note that spaces are limited in each of these areas. Checking the box only means we will consider you for a space there, but will not affect your likelihood of inclusion in the overall Festival.

Indoors vs Outdoors Preference

What is the annual budget of the exhibiting organization?
- If you are exhibiting as a representative of an organization, that is considered the “exhibiting organization”.
- School students, teachers and university/college students can exhibit free of charge. Please pick the first option.
- We are happy to consider requests to have the fee waived or reduced. Please contact Eric (<>) with your request.

At any of these levels, also consider upgrading to a sponsorship. It doesn’t cost much more, but you’ll get all the benefits that come with sponsorship. Email Jen Dodd for more info or call 416-997-9048 to speak with her.
